Training Session

Saturday November 23rd

SpeedSportz Racing Park

This event is for those who are new to drifting and want to learn how to drift their car. Do not register to drive if you know how to drift. You will be ask to leave the event without a refund.

The event will be held on the SpeedSportz skid pad to give new drivers the most room for error. Once we have seen a driver progress enough, we will allow them on the track.

We will teach and instruct drivers how to do the following on the skid pad before driving on track:

  • J-Turns

  • Donuts

  • Figure 8's

Once these techniques are mastered, we will then move on to driving on the track and begin to teach each turn in the hopes of linking everything together and drifting the whole track.

The schedule is as follows:

Saturday November 23rd

Gates Open at 8:00 AM

Tech Starts at 8:30 AM

Drivers Meeting at 10:00 AM

Driving Starts at 10:30AM

Driving Stops at 5:00 PM

Spectator Fee is $20 at the gate

Please review the tech rules on the website. Drivers can bring any car they would like to try to learn to drift as long we don't feel that the car will hold you back from learning.

Please be at the drivers meeting. If you are late, you will have to pay $20 at the gate to enter.

Registration Ends Friday November 22nd at Noon. No Refunds will be given after that point.
